How I got here...

1 childhood with a Mom whose mantra was
“boredom is a lack of creativity”
(Bored was a 4 letter word in our house)

Love for Making and Creating Things
(Everything from Barbie clothes to models for school projects)

1 Industrial Engineering degree
(All about making things (processes) efficient)

1 Masters in Education
(Learned the different ways that children learn, how to incorporate learning into everyday activities, and what skills provide a foundation for a lifetime of learning)

+

3 Kids in 4 years
(Learned that being a stay-at-home mom is one of the most difficult jobs EVER!)

(I’m also always learning how to entertain babies, toddlers, and preschoolers while accomplishing everyday tasks, discovering how to instill a life-long love of learning in my children, and doing my best to give my kids the skills they need to succeed and think creatively in life)

Why I started Preschool-Learning-and-Crafts.com

I am forever Googling and looking up fun and easy crafts to do with my own kids. Unfortunately, I find that so many of the crafts out there are not appropriate for preschoolers and certainly not toddlers.

A while back I started collecting magazine clippings, writing down ideas from other moms, and keeping track of my own creations of crafts and learning activities that actually work with my own kids. I can see how my kids learn and grow and benefit from all of these activities. Not to mention, how it actually makes my life EASIER!
