Easy Halloween Activities for Preschoolers... Spooky Fun!

Your kids will love these Halloween activities!

Halloween is a favorite holiday for most kids. Make-believe, candy, and costumes… what could be better? Use easy and fun Halloween ideas for preschoolers to create Halloween decorations, teach preschool lessons, and entertain (maybe you’ll even distract them from all that candy!)

Decorate your home with your toddler or preschooler’s Halloween crafts. She can use a few inexpensive craft supplies to make easy Halloween decorations. Use these decorations and throw an easy Halloween party for your family or playgroup.

Looking for a quick Halloween idea to distract your toddler from the TV or to avert a temper tantrum? Preschoolers and toddlers both love to sing and dance. Halloween songs and finger plays are a fun and easy preschool activity.

Using a Halloween theme is a fun idea for teaching preschoolers about ABCs, math, colors, and more. Halloween preschool activities that teach help preschoolers learn about shapes (make triangle witches or provide different shapes for a jack-o-lantern face), the letter “P” (Pumpkin), colors (orange pumpkins and black witches/ cats), and so much more.

Halloween is also a great opportunity for your child to express herself and to learn to make decisions. We all know that the hand-me-down pumpkin costume in your closet is tempting, but allowing your preschooler to make decisions teaches her so much and also helps her feel a little more in-control of her life. Halloween costumes don’t need to be expensive, find items around your house to transform your preschooler into a princess or pirate or bunny.
Get creative and have fun!
