Teach Your Child to LOVE Learning with Fun Preschool Learning Activities!

It can be easy to incorporate preschool learning activities into your child's playtime. You've probably noticed that your preschooler learns best and is happiest just playing- so why not teach him AND have fun?

As a former teacher turned stay-at-home mom of 3, I've learned (from experience, other parents, and teachers) some great tips for making learning fun with your preschool age child.

Even if you aren't a teacher or if your kids get frustrated or stubborn when you bring out the learning worksheets and preschool lessons, don't despair! Try the following easy and fun learning activities. You'll wish that your school days were this fun and educational!

Preschool Math Activities
Please don't be afraid to teach your child math! There are so many easy and fun math activities for kids (I promise). Preschool math activities are so much more than just "math problems" and "worksheets". Preschool math includes counting, shapes, sorting, and so much more!

Preschool Reading Activities

If you sing the ABCs or read to your preschooler or toddler, you're already using easy kid activities to teach the alphabet and reading. There are many preschool alphabet activities to help further teach your child alphabet letters and sounds.

As you know, experts agree that reading to your child (infant, toddler, or preschooler) is extremely important. Using preschool reading activities can help you make sure that your child is getting the most benefit possible out of your reading time.

Although younger preschoolers may not have the fine motor skills to write their letters, they can practice and improve their writing skills using fun and easy writing activities developed especially for little hands.

Preschool Science Activities

Most of us do science activities with our kids everyday (whether we realize it or not). Rolling a ball, taking a nature walk, or cooking with your preschooler are all fun and easy to use science activities for preschoolers. By using learning activities, you can teach your child even more with many fun activities that you already do!

If you're feeling more adventurous, do some great experiments and science recipes for you and your child to do together.

Here are more fun and easy preschool learning activities for your child. Teach your preschooler or toddler colors with an easy color activity.
